I have a 2003 GMC Crew Cab and I purchased a set of power camper mirrors. The mirror adjustment and turn signals work, but I can't get the mirrors to extend. My question is, do I need to change the switch. In the manual it states that you put the selector in the middle and it will light up, mine doesn't. If I need to replace the switch, would anyone by chance have the part number.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

what type of mirrors did you get? if they are the ones with the accordion boot you might need a re flash for the computer. all others are manual extend.

it could be the switch. does your switch have a litle picture of the mirror with arrows, and recessed light? if not you probably need a new switch.

I was at the dealer yesterday looking at a truck with the new '06 style camper mirrors. the switch in there is just a black piece with no picture or light on it. so it may be the same for the older mirrors that don't power extend, or you may have to get a programming update. I am looking to upgrade my power extending mirrors with the new ones myself.
