If towing & injectors go out, what do you do? Stop or keep going? Will driving w/bad injectors, hurt the motor? Thanks

Some times when the injectors go out the motor goes into a limp home mode. It will not run over a certain rpm, which can be dangerous in heavy traffic or going uphill. Sometimes they fill your crankcase with fuel, and sometimes you get lots of smoke out the exhaust and low power. My most common failure has been poor fuel mileage. To stop or keep going would depend on the circumstances, but I have heard of engine damage, expecially with fuel in the oil.Edited by: RickDLance
