Bought a polished diff cover for the G80 for its oil change and there is no plug bung for filling or inspection. If I even keep the cover, how would the diff be filled, as the only other available hole is the tapered plug at the bottom of the pumpkin.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif Will be putting in 4 qts. of grape juice fyi, and no, I do not want an 8 qt Mag-Hytec cover. Stick with OEM?

Get a cover from PML, www.yourcovers.com (http://www.yourcovers.com) it's 1 quart over stock, much cheaper than the other brand you mentioned, about $160. Here is a picture of one on my Dodge, it's basically the same for the GM, the Dodge one requires a little machining to clear the abs gear.

Thanks for the reply Bertram, and they are local for me. I'm bookmarking their site, returning the P.O.S. with no filler hole, and went ahead and changed my real diff oil. Found no particles on the plug or in the bottom! Duck
