Hey Guys, have a good one for you all. My new o4 started getting a little strange, about every other time I start it the gauge in the truck shows right inder 12 volts around a 11 or so on the gauge .I can kill the truck and start it back goes to 14 volts where it needs to be. Have not measured with a volt meter to prove it yet but any help would be great.

If it runs after start up back up to 14+ volts ,in fairly short order,They all do it and it's normal.


Between Glow Plug Cycle ,intake heater and Fuel heater during startup, puts a drain on the electrical system.Reason 1 for our two battery system.


It's more prevalent in colder climates.

Mine was in dealer for the same thing on friday july 30, They said what Mackin said perfectly normal charging at 14.4 volts not to worry.
