Just curious what everyone does with their stock exhaust when they pull it off. Do you just throw it away? It is sitting in my backyard right now because I haven't decided what to do with it yet.

Had a 8.1L guy ask me for mine. Said it gave the 8.1 a deeper sounding exhaust... Got $100 from it.

Cluttering up the back of the carport with several other parts from various vehicles and equipment. It's been there for a couple of weeks now and wife just noticed it today(uh, yesterday). "Honey, WTF is that big pipe thing!?!"http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

Hanging in the shed. Gotta luv those directions which say "take a sawsaw and cut...." Yeah, right. Just unscrew the 4 flange bolts, the ring on the downpipe, and some wrangling, and it's off, no problem... I saved mine cause I thought I might go back to just in case. But, no I don't think I ever will now. So it'll hang in the shed. You never know, if the injectors, fuel pump, flywheel, and head gasket hold together, the new exhaust may wear out by then. :-) If the motor takes a dump before that, it might see a 24v Cummins or a 600 install... :-)

Up in garage rafters, I cant throw a dam thing away. Still have air filters and plugs from Hi Po mustang I had back in 1965. Its a sickness.
