Hi Folks....Newbie here..first time diesel owner.
I purchased a truck('95 C3500 dually ext. cab) that needs an engine and have decided to replace it with a new 6.5L.The old engine spun a rod bearing. I've made a checklist of stuff to replace:
1. engine oil cooler
2. engine oil cooler lines
3. oil filter
4. fuel filter
5. relocate PMD
6. gauges
7. injectors
8. glow plugs
9. water pump
10. fan(improved)
anything else?

Exhaust

which size exhaust? 3.5" 4"?

Either one. 4" kits are easier to come by. 3-1/2" is stock on a dmax and you may be able to find a factory take-off like I did, but requires a little more ingenuity to install than the ready-made kits.
