I have recently purchased a 2004 gmc crew cab slt with 44,000 miles on it. It already had the edge juice installed on it when I bought it I was wondering if I should add the attitude monitor or would I be better off with ditching the edge all together and going another route? thanks in advance

Why do you need the attitude monitor anyway? I have the same situation as you and I just downloaded the instructions on setting it (by using the gear shifter).

I have the edge juice with the attitude and it works well plus you are able to monitor engine functions like egt and water temp, boost etc.

thanks for the input I already have it on level 4 I was wondering if some of ones who have the attitude monitor like it and would purchase it again or now that you have it would you go another route instead? I also have 4" bully dog flange back exhaust and ppe boost valve on the truck

I love my Attitude monitor, when I have an Edge box!!! It adds a power level, changes them on the fly, shows the pyro temps (with probe) and can watch/limit EGT's, show boost pressure, watch slippage, gears and corrected speed, about 30 other things including your best 1/4 mile time!

If you don't care about any of that, don't get it.

The monitor is great for having gauges to monitor and getting correct speeds for oversize tires. But, it also makes it really easy to push a button and kick up the power a little. Which can be hard on a stock tranny. Where without the attitude the power level is more of a set it and leave it.

I have run the edge without the attitude for a couple of years and recently installed the attitude. I love the many functions and the power level adjust on the fly. I am testing a Beta version of both the module and the attitude for the LB7 which edge has a problem with for sometime. They have awesome customer service and I will continue to use their product as it is plug and play so simple to install and remove...Jim

Dumb question, but can you replace the ends on the pyro with a plug? Mine is off at the moment and it's really the pyro connections keeping me from bothering to put it back on (have to find heat shrink and all that). Not a big deal but just curious.

My Pyro is connected to an analog guage so I do not know I am sure there is a way to do it. Someone will chime in..
