I have a custom set on mine with the tips coming straight out the back. The replacement muffler and the two pipes have to help power, heat, and economy some. At least that is what I told the wife! It is not noisy and I really enjoy the looks of other diesel owners as they see the twin pipes coming out the back. Mine is stock otherwise.

How does the trailer look after you are done towing her? That would be the only bad part...

Most Ive seen have one real pipe, and one fake one.....

Silly waste of time, IMO.

No problem with soot on the trailer yet. Perhaps it is because I am not using a chip or anything. Both pipes work, as the split is just behind the muffler.

Yesterday, I saw a superduty with dual stacks and just a belchin' the sooty smoke. Pipes looked like side pipes mounted vertically and through his bed behind the cab. Different....http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif
