Wow! what kind of warranty do you get with a suncoast? Feels "wierd" to take out a new tranny for a built one?!Oh well, let your fun begin now!!

Would have been quicker, but we were holding class:D
Tim Z. Dean's build was a kit, not a complete trans. Concerning the warranty, I give everybody the same warranty that chooses not to skimp. Since Dean was willing to buy a top of the line kit, I give him a full year on the build. If he is to overpower the trans, it is handled on a case by case basis. Broken hard parts are not covered. I have contemplated offering more warranty, but I've decided if you want that, you should buy a complete trans. You will get a 2-3 year warranty on a complete trans.
dynarex 12-25-2006, 11:48 AM sorry we dragged you down!but i dont what was better the learning experience or the trans itself:D maybe we can get cj to leave you alone when you do his truck!!
00sierra 12-25-2006, 03:02 PM I recommend Eric as well. I took the trip out to his shop and could not have been happier. Great guy to deal with and I will definitly be back for more as soon as I save some more $$$.
ratlover 12-26-2006, 02:58 PM The transgo JR kit is inexpensive and easy to do. You could get it done yourself in less time it would take you to have someone else do it unless they were in the same town as you. Drop the pan, unplug the noids, take some of the VB bolts out to drop the VB, drill some holes and swap some valve, replace and fill with fluid. Drive away :D
TIM Z 12-26-2006, 08:49 PM Thanks guys For the Help/Info. Spending hard earned money and wanting to make sure your doing right can be nerve racking! Its nice to get the "pros" opinion.I wnt through all this on my gasser, and i guess the Diesel is no different. I thought this trans would be the toughest around but im learning if want to play you gotta pay!
