I've been reading about when you "juice up" a truck (with any kinda chip) you may/should be beefing up the Allison tranny. That got me to thinking about the rest of the drivetrain. What if anything have you guys done to the rear end, transfer case, u-joints, front end, etc??

Thanks

Nothing....in the drivetrain.

Running a K&N air filter and a 4" exhaust.

I have 36k on the clock right now, tranny seems to holding up fine along with the rest of the drivetrain.

I run level 4 all the time and level 5 when neededhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif.

I run in level 2 when towing.

I usually run my truck pretty hard, more often passing then being passed.

I WOULD like to do a Suncoast type upgrade, but the $$$ they want is just nuts. I may tackle it myself one day soon.

So far, so good.

Drivetrains seem to hold up very well, even the heavy hitters havent done a whole lot to them

Thanks for the info. Mine is still bone stock but would like to add one someday (probably the Juice as that seems to have the best reputation here).
