IN THE MORNINGS GOING TO WORK AND AFTERNOON ON MY RETURN TRIP AT ABOUT 135-150 DEGREES THE ENGINE BEGINS TO BUCK A LITTLE AND COUGH.
I'M RUNNING THE EDGE W/ ATTITUDE ON LEVEL 3. ONCE TRUCK IS USED FOR AWHILE AND HEATS UP NO PROBLEMS. TOOK THE MODULE OUT AND HAD NO PROBLEMS.
ANYONE EXPERENCING THIS PROBLEM. CALLED EDGE AND THE TECH SAID HE NEVER HEARD OF ANY PROBLEM LIKE THIS ONE.

I've had your same problem for over 2 months now, with or without the edge. I'm changing my fuel filter saturday to see if it solves the problem. There are some other posters here with the exact same problem you are having. Mine rough idles at a stop light with the temps between 130 to 175. Once it hits 180 it quits. I'm baffled as to what it could be. Some mornings its so bad that the truck almost stalls unless I put it in netural. If a fuel filter change doesn't solve it, then its going to the dealer again.

There are several people on here having the same problem. Chevy has no solution for it yet...that I've heard of. I have the same problem and my truck has been to the dealership twice for the problem. Here is a link to the subject on this board about the same problem.

I have had only two episodes, one day apart, thankfully once for the "stealer". Engine is stock. Mine belches black smoke each time. Over fueled? / Under aired? - No codes. Wasn't one of the new features on the LLY a varying pitch turbo? What if there was a lag in it's adjustments or a stick while cold??? The dealership mechanics don't know and have sent a message back to Corporate. Wait and see. They say that I am not harming the engine though, and with it already reported it is on them now!!!

This might be just a coincidence but I also started to get the rough idle while stopped and a little bucking going down the road this weekend and I installed the Juice\Attitude yesterday, I hope this is not related. Like I mentioned in another post I have removed the Juice\Attitude today since the truck goes into the shop tomorrow for the A\C problem and I am going to mention this to them and see what they say.

I will update tomorrow...

Have them check the turbo actuator for metal shavings. When they were made they did not get cleaned correctly. It causes the actuator to hang on the shavings. Also on my 01 when it was bucking all the time on the juice, I found that the injector balance rate was off and needed some injectors changed.Edited by: RickDLance

I have read on another forum that this condition is caused by a overheated connection to the drivetrain. They had an engineer come and look at this person's truck and found the connector heating up and shorting out. GM has a fix for it but the part needed is on back order for three weeks. I have the exact same problem with mine. It started after I installed my juice. Try setting your juice box back to stock until the truck warms up. I have been doing this for a month or so now and as long as I have the juice in the stock mode it does not do it. Once it is to operating temperature it preforms fine.

I think this has something to do with the juice and not an issue with GM. I drove my truck for 2000 miles before the juice was added with not a single bucking episode. On my first test drive after installing the juice on level 3 it began bucking. Once it hit operating temperature no problems. I have been playing with this for a month or so in my truck and it never does it with the juice off.

I do not think my problem is injectors because it can be easily eliminated by turning off the juice. It is possible that some of the other members are having injector or other issues but I think my issue is directly related to the juice.

Zscoope33 try setting your level back to stock for the warm up periord and see if the bucking goes away. I am hoping you will have similar results...................

Let us know what happens.

Update...

Took truck in to get A\C fixed, told them about the rough idle, told me this morning it is injector #3 and that they would give me a rental "car" until the injector comes in. This sucks!!!

I asked if tech assistance said anything about it possilby being the wiring harness, they said they didn't say anything, I hope this is not a misdiagnose....

The juice is not the problem. I had this problem weeks before I put the juice on and I'm sure I speak for others also. Mine was getting real bad, then I put some additive in it and changed the fuel filter and it hasn't done it since. Hope that solved it, but probably not for good.
