Lucky for me there was one wittness said it was 2 guys and it happened fast only got part of there plate number but did get a good look at the stickers on the back window. I since installed a lock. I would also do the worm drive hose clamp around the two bottom holders.

Goto an upfitter and see if they have any from the utility body conversions........

Went to the local auto zone to get the air net and my wife said hey look at that truck and sure enough it was the tailgate thieves the plate the stickers in the window. Called the police then went and talked to the guy he said I was crazy The police showed up to late but they said don't chase themhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Cry.gif Anyways we got the full plate number and he must live in my area. chaps 08-01-2004, 11:20 PM I have a dark green tailgate off of a 03 silverado that i bought with the intent of shaving but have decided against it because the truck is too tall. It is in good condition and still has emblems, cap and stock cables. If someone is interested let me know, shippin wasn't cheap for me but It was packaged good and I still have to box and packing in my room. PM me if interested. It is like "You scratch my back and I will scratch yours" scenario. The manufactures are cashing in on the a$$holes that are steeling them and the a$$holes are making money doing it.
