ok except for the day that I ran the track, I've been running the 65hp Predator tune. Today for giggles, I went to the 40hp tune. I'm getting a lot less power, but much more crisp shifts. It also feels like the boost is down.


So that made me wonder.


What exactly is my box(and others doing) between different tune settings?


At 40hp is it just timing? 65hp fuel and timing? etc....etc...


I'd love an explanation if anyone can offer one up.

The shifts may just be do to the Allison "learn" ...


A you explain it could be but only the programmer knows for sure ....


More timing less EGT's,cooler .... More smoke longer injector pulse more fuel more heat ...
