I have a 02 GMC dually. I need to know if there is a wheel manufacture that makes an aluminum wheel that I can mount on the outside of the rear of my truck that 235 tires will fit on without rubbing. The stock wheels are too close together. Thinking of keeping the inside steel wheel for load capacity. I cant get a definite answer from anyone that has already dealt with this issue. The wheel will need to have less backspacing (more dish) so there will be more space between the wheels. I heard that spacers were a bad idea, as well as both rims being aluminum in the rear. Also will wheels off of an older truck fit on the rear of our trucks?
Sorry for so much confusion but need someone with any amount of first hand experience.

The tires I have (235"s) only have 1/4" space at the bulge unloaded with the stock wheels. Please let us know when you get time to try sumthin out. I have no spare time (or $$$) to test fit wheels.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

i ended up getting the 235's. even with the new wheels there isn't much room between the tires. i would say almost a 1/2". i think they look a lot better than those 215s but would like bigger maby 265.
