Pretty new to the Forum and would like to know were the nearest qualified dealer/service for a suncoast kit would be. My Allison seems to slip alot between gears theese days (only have about 23XXX on it). Time to upgrade! Any help would be great.:)

You mentioned that it seems to slip between gears. What exactly does that mean? Usually when people go after the trans upgrades the trans slips while in gear or when you shift into say 5th with too much power and codes are set (limp mode).

Well worth the trip to Michigan and have Merchant Automotive do it. I'm going back in January for a few things.

Mt tranny according to the attitude display will show up to 80% slip when accelerating in stage 3. This slip seems to be through all the gears.(You can feel that somthing is not right ) Also when on the freeway at about 60MPH if you accelarate hard enough to cause a downshift it will Lock into 4th and stay there until YOu cycle the ignition.

Have you run it on a higher setting than 3?

There has been a few times that it has seen stage 4 for short periods (less than 20 seconds). I also ran it on stage 5 once (I couldn't resist).

I would also recommend Eric if not to far for you.

Believe it or not I see a lot of people thinking their transmissions are bad whne they need a fuel filter change.

To add to that, a good lift pump setup will be necessary for most as well...

Call Kennedy:)

I had mine done in MI, however, at the time I believe that JK didn't do kits, he just did drop ins.

Otherwise, Eric is the best around here. (Just make sure to get the waveplate):D

Depending where you live, It's about a 24-30 Hour complete installed trip.

Good luck!
