personally, i dont like their new styles for their SUV's.

I like the look of the 2005-06 trucks, comewhat choppy, with refined edges... the new styling looks very squared, and sort of escalade-ish. :bleah: :badidea:
:banghead:

I saw a new suburban the other day. i didnt like it at all. the squared edges, the big 20" (or so) rims, the rubber band tires.:bling: i just dont like it.

i dont know about you. but i dont like this!

a truck should be meant for hauling/off-road/utility purposes. lowered suspention wont help you out there.....

GAHHH! i just dont want to be left with crappy looking trucks when im 16!

What do you think?

I didn't like the new desig when i saw it a few months ago but its kinda catching on me. Don't like the look of the Chevy HD bumpers, too much chrome. I'd be interested in the GMC's though. This new truck design will definately attract a lot of people and the design will probably last a long time. Its definately a futuristic design all the way. Like the new extended cabs with doors that open 180 degrees...

While waiting at the dealr to get my truck washed, I looked at and sat in a new 07 GMC. The clown shoes they put on these new trucks are-:t . Who in the hell would want 20" wheels, they look way out of proportion to the truck. The body style is OK, will take some getting used to. The interior has changed for the worse. Looks more like the cheap interior you would find on the Dodge trucks.

at first i was not a huge fan of them but the subs and tahoes are growing on me. but it grew on me, then the silverados and at first didnt like em but its growing on me. i agree with the bumpers, to much chrome. definitly think gmc look better than the chevys tho. first plan was to get the new body but didnt wanna wait and pay more so got the 07 classic.

I like the chevy, haven't seen the GMC yet. The Suburban looks ok, the Yukon looks terrible. On the interior, I like the seats and all, but the dash looks just like every GM vehicle, would have liked to see something more unique for the GMT 900 platform. I know GM did this to reduce cost by standardizing / reducing supply chain complexity, but it isn't going to help them sell trucks/SUVs IMHO. They didn't strike a good balance between cost / customer with that dash in trucks.

They may look a little different at first but the suv's and trucks ride, drive and handle better. i'm impressed.

I like the look of both of them. Have you seen them in person yet? I saw a new GMC Sierra on the road the other day, I really liked it.

My gf drives an 07 Tahoe and that thing is NICE. It's definitely a whole different vehicle inside. IMO the 20's set those vehicles off. But I also like 20's on our trucks too.

X2.........I'm 33 and just bought my first Crew Cab LB D-Max. I probably could have done it years ago, but a new house and property were a higher priority for me. Oh believe me, I've been *****ing the last few years during my hunts, but its been worth the wait. It's time to retire my old Chev.:ro)

I am currently accepting donations for the GMC Mod fund. I think I can do that without checking with my REAL boss...maybe:cool:

wanaDmax-I know someone who has a '84 Chevy 3/4 Ton that they would make you a heck of a deal on! All the leftover money you would save instead of a D-Max could be spent on 1 quart of 10W-40 every 600 miles and taking girls to the movies:lol:

...but I do have my drivers license:)

Oh yeah...the topic. I like the interior and the molded sides of the new GM's. I like the old front ends better.
