Hello all, I am new to the community and a new diesel owner. All of my friends had one and convinced me it was the way to go and they were right. I bought a 1994 K3500 crew cab and I love it. I knew it needed some work so I started looking around the site and have learned a lot so far. Unfortunately, while I was on my way home from work, the alternator siezed and I broke down on the side of the highway (on my B-day of all days:mad:). My truck is at the dealer with a new alternator, serpentine, oil PSI switch, and vacuum pump. They had replaced the PMD without my knowledge and since I had already ordered the new FSD kit and PMD I asked if they would take it off. Not to mention they wanted $1300 for the part and labor and didn't tell me that they installed it until after the fact. When I get it back I will post some pics (if I ever get it back. Been almost 2 weeks)

Good luck with your truck. I'd hate to have mine held up at the dealer, although I guess it's gonna happen sooner or later, hopefully much later.
