I wouldn't buy a thing from those guys again...terrible customer service. They have the attitude that if they don't sell it it must be garbage. Be very very careful when buying things from these guys.

Got Juice.....I am confused...is this supposed to be aimed at me selling stuff and bashing because I am the competition? If it is you are dead wrong. I don't own or have interest anywhere in the diesel industry except the duramax I have sitting in my driveway. Eveything I have said about BD is based on what I have purchased for my own personal use.

There seems to be a lot of the same chipsets in use RATM. I hope the programming is different enough to justify the cost is all.

Bears a striking resemblence (case style) to the Xcelerator which bears indentical programming to another tuner from a company with the same initial as the ones with the Intimidator...

THAT is what GJ was trying to say near as I can tell.

That intimidator is dissapointing to me. Originaly BD POWER was suppose to release a custom programmer that was suppose to work in conjuntion with there soon to be released Allison Shift Stradegy. The first time there would have been a true aftermarket marrigae between the TCM and PCM. I spoke to BD on the phone and they kept telling me a few more weeks. Finally I noticed the Intimidator released but no Allison Shift Stradegy. As a matter of fact they pulled any hint of it from there website. So I called. They are no longer working on the Allison SHift Stradegy. NO GO. They said it was more complicated of a task then originally thought. That is odd because Cyclone seems to recall riding in a truck with this unit working fine? Rumor is there engineer bailed on them. Wonder where he is?

So now we are left with a Intimidator that looks from the surface identical to the PPE. Dtech said it is a Bullydog clone? I cant confirm becasuse BD claims it does nothing to the 3300 PCM rev limiter when a power pup will jack it up to 3700 RPM.

Confused as always. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

Yeah i noticed the shift strategy was missing from the site last week.

When i am in Vancouver next i will talk to Brian or Norm and see if they ever plan to get something similar up and coming..... too bad it sounded like it held a lot of promise!

dpower,

Which of BD-Powers product are you having problems with? I'm a BD dealer and maybe I can help. They make the best exhaust brake in the business, and I have also found their programming for the 7.3 powerstroke to be one of the best. I use many of their products on my personal rigs also. tpitt
