I just received our 2005 training guide for Chevy and GMC and the official numbers for HP and Torque are as follows: 310 HP at 3000 RPM (unchanged from 2004.5) and 605 lb/ft at 1600 rpm...this is with the Allison only. 6 Speed remains unchanged.

That's not a big change, but I have to admit, I do like what they've done with the front end....makes it less Avalancheish.

Wonder what the rebates will be over the winter, or if any will be offered. I might consider jumping to an '05 if the price was right.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif

bartman, I heard the same thing today as well.... Sounds like its more a numbers game to compete with the big Cummins.... Regardless, they keep going up and the tranny dont change any...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

Have Ford or Dodge released their 2005 numbers yet, or did GM blink first?
