I am looking into getting new front seats for my 3500 crew cab and I have no idea where to look and can use your suggestions please?

Does anyone know of another member that has air ride leather in their 3500 or lower truck?

The reason for change is I am 5'4 and future bride is 4'9. The seats we have now are not that comfortable for me and really uncomfortable for her on long trips, thus on long trips I am riding around in the f**d Explorer. Please help me out here with suggestions so I can keep on rolling in the d-max.

I get numb legs and sore rear end after riding about 2 hours. So I am looking to change to something new in leater and air ride would be sweet if it is possible.

Just a note our seats are the all power adjustable but we still can't get them right and I don't want to have to ride in the explorer any more then I have to.

Thanks for the suggestions in advance.

Good Luck! I have been lookin' for new seats for my 3500 for 3 years now. My wife is short (5'2") and the seats don't go low enough for her. I looked at some seats that are made for bigger trucks and buses....they have the air ride and seat adjustments all in one unit...but nobody makes them for pick-up size trucks. If you do find some let me know....post the info.

Can't help you with replacement seats, but I have had the seats in numerous cars and SUV's modified due to an cranky back. Some I have done myself with little more than wire cutters, hog ring pliers and hog rings which are available quite reasonably from upholstery suppliers.
Power seats can be quite heavy and you may want to have a custom upholstery shop rework the seats for you. My last experience was very successful. I found a custom upholstery shop that specialized in high end cars, found out their hourly rate and bought their time for up to one day to repeatedly remove and modify the front seats until they were great. I've now done this with two vehicles and the cost was peanuts compared to purchasing replacement seats. Be prepared that they won't get it right the first or second time. You'll have to keep fine tuning until you're satisfied.
