Alright I really really want to do 5" stacks soon. I am in the process of making a custom headache rack and I made the first 3 pieces tonight and im looking for opinions on if the stacks are too close together or not. I am going to paint the headache rack white to match the truck and I am probably going with miter cut stacks. And yes I realize this is not even close to photoshop caliber this is ms paint and 3 minutes worth of effort. Thanks as always I value your opinions.
Edit: one more thing if I were to use a 4x4 piece of steel as my tee fitting laying in the bed (instead of the tee and 90's) would that inhibit flow alot?? If you do the math the area of one 4" pipe is 12.56 the area of 4" square is 16. Then my next question would be if I ran 2 vertical 4x2 pieces of rectangle into the bottom of the stacks would that really kill the flow. that way I can recess the 5" stacks into the headache rack and only loose 4" of bed space. Again my math shows that 2 4x2 would leave 16 sq inches of flow area. no reduction technically. Thanks sorry for long post.
