Hi guys, my brother has a '99 1500 4x4 and has upgraded the front & rear diffs from 3.73 to 4.11. The shop that did the upgrade used a Yukon ring & pinion, but reinstalled the original 3.73 ABS reluctor. The PCM was sent to PCMFORLESS so the computer would recognize the gear swap. Now, the problem is that the ABS light stays on all the time. I know over on the ImpalaSS forum when ever someone upgrades from 3.08 or 3.73s to 4.10s a new reluctor is required. Is this his problem? On that vehicle, the reluctor is on the transfer case output shaft, non on the pig, like in an Impala SS. Curious as to what reluctor wheel they switched out on the rear. The abs on that vehicle is a 3 sensor, one for each front and the transfer case holds the rear wheel sensor.

Well, I don't know that they did that I was guessing because I'm familiar with the ImpalaSS and not the truck setup. Anyways, if he changed gear ratios from 3.73 to 4.11s would he need a different sensor or wheel on the transfercase?
