I am adding an additional fuel tank to my 3500 duramax. I do not want to pump fuel from one tank to the other, I just want to flip a switch and run on the aux. tank. I have purchased a 6 way transfer valve and there is a function to wire the fuel gage to the two pole switch. What I need help with is finding the correct wire comming from the exisiting fuel tank. I would like to cut and splice the correct wire under the drivers side dash and run the wire up to the overhead consoul. My aux. tank has a sending unit in it, and I can run that wire there as well. The switch will then select the tank to pull fuel from and the correct sending unit. Does anybody know which color wire, and its location under the dash that comes from the fuel sending unit to the gage? Thanks for the helphttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Hug.gif
