http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif Thinking about buying a 5" exhaust. Is it overkill or not? I have been told that diesels do not need back pressure. Is it true?

Definately overkill. If you like the looks go for it. Otherwise there won't be an advantage. Kennedy sells 4" into the muffler and 5" out IIRC. www.kennedydiesel.com (http://www.kennedydiesel.com)

My buddy has one on his 2000 ford f350. It look's sweet and sounds good too. Have you found a place that has them for the duramax?
