While the t-shop has the trans shifting almost perfect. . . . if you lay into the throttle through all the gear's. every shift is very nice. . . . until it goes to shift into 5th. . . . as it goes to shift it's like it missed the gear. . . . .rev's up & then slam's into 5th. but only does this at or over half throttle. if your just moderately in the throttle all shifts are perfect. Trans shifts SO much nicer w/ that BD valvebody taken out. . . . . So anyway, thats the dilema I'm still dealing with. Man do I wish i found this board a week earlier ! ! ! ! !

My 2005 does that too but only on TH 4-5. Have you looked at TAP cell 2 for the 4-5 shift? I think you will find it is wacky.

Probably my best advice is to clear 4-5 TAP and drive in T/H only for a while. I haven't been out with mine enough to nail it down and I have the 6 speed TCM so I cannot customize it just yet.

I imagine you have to have a tech 2 or simular to reset the tap's. . . . . trying to find somebody who has access to one. Thanks for the help tho !

I may have to dig a little deeper on mine also. I need to drive it more first though. It tends to be a bit erratic/intermittent and happens like you describe on relatively light pedal.

What valve body did you end up using?? One with the Transgo stuff??:)

Yah, stock valve body w/ the transgo piece's installed. while they had it out they compared the 2 valvebodies. t-shop said they R for all intended purposes the same. same hole's drilled, same color springs. . . . .So ? ? / . . . . Kennedy, mine only does it on over half throttle. prior to that is shift's great. all the way up & down. even upshifts great 1-2 2-3 3-4. . . . .just the 4-5 shift rev's & slams.

Maybe just reset the 4-5 TAP cells???
