: Pinging while under load and throttle storman22 12-14-2006, 09:33 AM After having my truck in the shop and an injector and fuel regulator replaced, I now notice that while under acceleration between the 1400-2000 rpm range, it sounds like a pinging noise, much like the old dodge 440 engines when you tromped on them. Anyone have any thoughts as to what this might be? Thanks.
