http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/uploads/1C5_truck.JPGWhat is the best way to calibrate my Speedo/odom. I have 35 " tires on my truck. The speedo is off by at least 17 % and the faster you go the more it is "off". I have the edge/*** and the *** monitor is correct but the DIC is off on mileage calculations, fuel economy and everything else. Should I get a programmer to fix it or what? What kind and what setting should be used for it and the edge together? Thanks! Edited by: blowinsmoke

I think your only option right now would be www.bullydog.com (http://www.bullydog.com) programmer. Either that or superlift's true speed box.

I agree with Max on the bully dog programmer. It will do the trick or you can get a predator programmer...

I don't think predator has a box for the LLY yet.

would you use any of those programmers at a certain level( a minor stack?) or just use them to recalibrate the speedo?

I called superLift and they said it would be 2-3 months before the True speed sensor was ready for the 04.5 trucks.
What would you put, Bullydog pup or predator?

Get the Bullydog power pup. I just got one in this week and am pretty impressed with it. You can adjust for larger tires, gearing, read trouble codes, and erase them. Not to mention 3 power levels. It runs good, not as good as the juice though. Stacked...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Rock On.gif

Can the power pup also diagnose other vehicles, and read/remove codes from them?
