Hi everybody, I am 45 years old and I just traded a 7 year old worn out ATV for a 1984 Chevy G20 diesel 4X4 van with approx 158,000 mi. and not wrecked or rusted. My first diesel vehicle(I love that smell). It has a 6.2 N/A, a new transmission w/overdrive (some type of 700R4 I assume), winch bumper and Warn winch, 33X12.50X15 all-terrain tires and tinted windows and it appears to be lifted. It has a customized interior that is decent although it is 22 years old. It also gets approx. 21-22 MPG on the highway(115 miles and 5.3 gallons to fill up). I am impressed! It needs some cleaning, the Air conditioning fixed, paint (faded), ball joints and tie rod ends, U-joints(vibration at certain speed). I have never seen one of these in the diesel version and rarely at all. I will post pics when I get them loaded. Just to let y'all know, I have been reading your forums for a little while now and it is very informative and you are a great group with a common interest. I will become a regular here now that I have a diesel Chevy.
