I was on my way home and my CEL came on. I used onstar to see if they could tell me what was wrong and they could not. When I got home after 2 days it went off. I did not have my Flashpaq to check it. I left to pick up my trailer it came on agian when I got to my trailer I got my Flashpaq and it came up "Gas Recircilation, Insufitent Circlelization". Does this mean my EGR is stuck shut or not working properly as far as flow. Or just a toss up between the two. I cleared it and now it seems like it comes on every 200 to 500 miles. I just keep clearing it. I have a blockerplate and fingerstick I know that would stop the CEL from coming on. But now I am afraid to install it at this time cause if I have to take it in to a dealer they will see the code and check everything. What should I do? Let it ride for a little and see what happens. Or get it checked let them fix it and then install the Blocker and stick.:help:

Forgive my spelling I'm a Jarhead.

I would take it to the dealer as soon as you can, let them clean the EGR and clear the code. Then install Finger stick and blocker plate.
If it has to go back someday, I wouldn't worry about it much, mine looks totally stock, you don't notice it unless your really looking for it. Covered it in wire loom and even wrapped the electrical tape the same distance apart as stock looms. you can't see it at all.
