Anyone see a body molding that matches the factory molding which would go on the crewcab bed of an 2004? In 2002 chevy had them! The moldings would then flow from the doors to the bed between the wheel wells.

I agree, it looks incomplete. It make it appear as if someone left off a part as it was going down the assembly line.

I went to the local stripe and molding shop last month, but the guy told me there were no aftermarket Chevy moldings to match. However, he acted as if he couldn't care less, so I am not sure if I got a straight answer.

Do you have a Chevy or a GMC? Some folks are replacing the 2003 and 2004 moldings with the narrow chrome molding from the 2002 GMC. It goes from wheel well to wheel well. You can do this on a GMC or a Chevy.

Chevy used a wide full molding in 2002. By looking at the brochure, it appears to be color matched for light pewter metalic, and black for most of the other color schemes. It was channeled, not smooth, and had a chrome insert.

If you find a full length matching molding for the Chevy, please let us know.

I thought it was pretty lame when the '01 and '02 molding stopped in front of the rear wheel well. I got the moldings for the box in front of the rear wheel and cut them to fit and then installed them behind the rear wheel wells. Now the whole truck looks "finished'!!
