Just installed a set of rancho RS9000 last night and read about the settings most run on your trucks. 5 in the front and 4 in the rear for most. My question is ----where is the indicator as to what number you have selected? There is no mark or line to set the number to. Is the 5 supposed to be facing the shock tube or the shock mount? Its a stupid question I know but I either have mine on 3 or a 9 depending how you look at it. I know there is an arrow on the dial pointing counter-clockwise, but I can turn my dial 360 degrees, is that a 1 or a 10? Does going counter-clockwise lower the number or raise the number? There should be a mark on the shock to line it to. Thanks for your help.

I have mine set for 12:00 as the setting.
So the straight up number is what I assume is the setting.
If you turn it all the way left or right see where the common stopping place is.
I am running 6 front and 5 rear........H2's and 33's need a little more dampening

I turn'em full CCW and count the cliks CW to the setting I need. Wokrs. As for feedback/experience, seems as just happy users so far ~ there were some adverse FB on an earlier model of their adjustables ~ one would think they have a handle on it by now ~ hope so.

I am on my 3rd set of RS9000s on as many trucks. I would not buy anything else! The only complaint I have is that if you use shock boots, the shock tube will rust under the boot over the course of a couple years. And I'm in North Texas where vehicles just don't rust.
Other than that a nice to have would be inverted mountability. I was told you CAN invert them, but in real life they didn't like it.
But as I said, I'll continue buying them.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

Is the 5 supposed to be facing the shock tube or the shock mount?
The tube.

Installing mine today, have question on the red zip tie they included for the rear boots. Is that supposed to be at the bottom to hold the boot on the tube? Where did you guys use it?
