Other options are denali headlights and a denali grille. That gets you very close to the look. Especially if you've got an 04' that's got the nice painted bumper. Once my grille shows up I'll post a few pics. The denali lights and markers look great. I got them for under 200$ PM me for details

I want to do an escalade front end on my 03 chevy. 3100+other parts and install is gonna be rather exspensive. maybe by next summer I'll have it done.

http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/uploads/5CF_front_on.jpgHere's as close to a denali as I plan on getting... It's dirty, so bear with me. Anyone good enough w/ photoshop that could chrome out, or white out that damn black strip below the grille?

I just played around with it for a second. I could line it a up a little better if I took some time. I'm still kinda new a PS. here ya go. all I did was lower the truck down around the bumper. hahaha

Does anyone know if a stock Denali bumper will bolt on an HD rig?

Obviously the grille would fit, but will all the lines match up?

well my cousin did the whole front denali conversion on a 2001 gmc 3500 and the problem is you have to cut the mounting brackets for the front bumper and reweld them a couple inches higher but it sure is some work i'll see if i can get some pics for you guys

Here you guys are... not my truck. Notice the gap between bumper and grille, due to HD's body lift.

Yitsock, Do you know if that truck has the stock bumper under that bumper cover? Was it put on not re-positioning the bumber brackets? Does anyone know where to find a schematic of the front end of a Denali, and a HD truck on line anywhere? Thanks in advance.

Nutz - that's what I'm trying to determine right now too... I don't understand why that person in the pics above wouldn't have just moved the bumper up - it seems like it would be pretty straight forward to make a bracket that would just bump everything up.

Do you know what the backside of a Denali bumper looks like?

I have a complete list of P/Ns of all that is needed to convert a stock 1500 style truck to a Denali front -

Those pics are pretty cool - thanks for posting them Yitsock!

No problem... That truck was one I was considering buying before I went new. The guy that had it didn't seem to know too much about it. He said he had a programmer that was fully custom. I believe it was a VA box. He couldn't give me any more info. Said it ran low 13's, no tranny upgrade. Didn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

I believe that's what the denali conversion would look like with just purchasing the parts and bolting them on. I've looked at the front bumper and it does seem easy enough to modify the mount to eliminate that gap. I'm not sure on the details of the install on the black on pictured though?

Boss...Do you know anything about it? Like what that had to do to get it like that, i.e. modifing the bumper etc? Made my night seeing that pic, thanks for posting it. I was getting worried that I was sitting on $500.00 worth of parts that I couldn't use.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

RoadBoss,

That is one sweet looking truck. That guy needs a pat on the back, but it doesn't look like a Duramax, so take the pat on the back away from him.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

GMC makes a Denali Pickup truck.........

I assume that the front end on all GM trucks is a hydro formed frame...CADD/YUKON/TAHOE/SUBURBAN/..etc.

I would find out from a body shop..........all crash estimates are on an interactive CD with blow-ups and part numbers usually......

With a good look at what the parts actually are that are different it would be an easy swap........
