Check out my new front end replacement by ARB this thing is solid as a tank. the mounting system is Bad A$$ and this whole system fits like you wouldnt believe. I also have 4 KC Highliter's 2, 130 watt driving and 2, 130 watt long range and am mounting them tomorrow! So what ya think?

Thanks $1400.00 plus I bought it through 4 wheel parts and they have a life time unconditional warranty that if it gets damaged in any way, even rust they will replace it,so after ship and warranty $1600.oo.I couldnt affordthe winch right now but I will be putting one on in the near future, just have to ease it in for my mariage sake! I think that this truck is starting to look prety sweet

looks meaner than the warn HD bumper for our rigs.

Think it'd look good with some Lightforce 240's on it tho ;)

i dont know about yours but mine came from austrailia. i picked it up from a local 4wheeldrive shop and had ARB themselves install it. i was the first GMC with one so they had to modify it a little bit.

the northamerican HQ for ARB is just 5 or so miles from my house. they have an awesome warehouse.

Just wondering if you know the thickness of the sheet metal parts and the possible the weight of the bumper.

How does it mount to the truck? I have been looking and considering a winch bumper but the one I looked at, installs in the same holes as the factory bumper. I question if the factory 4 mounting bolt would be strong enought to pull a 8000 pound truck out of a muddy hole? Any thoughts, opinions or past experiences?

The mounts for the bumper are 1/4" plate and mounts to the top and side of the frame and to the factory tow hooks! the bumper is around 1/4" thick in the mount and winch area the rest of the bumper is around 3/16" thick plus some very beefy suports in outer area's and bends, this things is so solid it mounts with 5 bolts on the frame and 5 bolts, from mount to bumper each side! I think that the bumper weighs around 150-200 lbs is sunk my truck
1/4" when all was finished, which was fixed with a little torsion bar adj!

Hey duraman03 that looks bad *** I love the blacked out look! black is beautiful yet ugly to the ground and I love it! it has this ability to scare the hell out of people! lol. Maleko I have a 1" block in the rear and Green torsion keys in the front, the back spacing is standard 4.5" i think a little triming but totaly worth it! I think I am going to try 315's in a maxis mud tire! get a little more beef on the that burger!

That is nice, I like the ranchhand also. I think they both run around the same price. CodyThom has a ranchhand on his rig and it looks sweet. Id be happy with either but don't see it in my budget for at least another few months now.:(

Thanks guys, I love my truck! It is every thing that I could ever want in a bad a$$ mofo, that will do any thing that I want! Ranch hand is a great bumper but the grill guard is not as stout as I wanted! My grill guard is a 2" main bar and prety much impenetrable to animals! I had $4500 dollars damage to my 03 silverado by a "small doe", with a brush guard! That will never happen again. I love the blacked out look, I think it gives the truck a nasty look! it seems to scare people! haha, lmao, now with that nasty bumper it realy scares the he!! out of people, especialy those yuppies in their little suv's! lolo. As far as the stripes, thats a big hood, it needed something. A good friend painted them in satin black it almost looks like vinyl. Some like them, some dont but I love them!!! The greates thing about this site is seeing all the great ideas that every one has, taking the ones you like and loosing the ones that you don't like and making you're truck your own!!!
