Hi all, this is my 1st post as I have just bought my first diesel. My question is about the truck. When I turn left or right (slightly or alot) I feel a bumping/clunking being transmited from steering system up to the steering wheel. When I crawled under to look everything seems tight? the truck just turned over 30K miles.

Do a forum search for "steering shaft" and/or "intermediate shaft" and I think you'll find the answer to your question.

Looks like it's time to take it to the dealer for the fix (not lube)
