Ok so I take a pride hit am decide to apply at yet another GM steeler. I go to a smaller town about 45 miles from home to apply.they have an opening for certified GM tech. I am talking to the Service Mgr. on the service drive and a d/max pulls up. Owner gets out and walks over to us talking "says Dam thing is leaking diesel out the motor" I look at him and say no big deal
it can get fixed it a day or so.Now this is an older man
you know the cool dudes with the WWII hat on, Oh there fun to talk to. most of them have the best war stories.so anyway the manager says "never seen that before".it will be a few days until I can get to it.with a look of anger the guy thinks about it and says well guess I am not going fishing this weekend.
Oh how my blood runs thin. The d.max is so easy top fix and I wanted to tell the manager to give me 1/2 hr and Ill go get my d/max tools(which are all in one door in my tool box) and I could have it done today....
Lets face it there are a dozen or so good d/max techs in the nation and thats it.If dmaxallitech is like me, when ever I see a dmax rolling down the road I say to myself (wounder where he get his truck worked on)then I say, I want to work on it. But all in all most owners are unsure of who to trust.

The world sure could use a few good Dmax mechanics. The hell with a few good men.
Hope all goes well Patrick.
