Can anyone confirm this? I have the 06 LLY which is 310 hp stock IIRC and the LBZ is 360 hp. When I add the Bully Dog Power Pup it reprograms the ECM so that both trucks would be at the LBZ hp rating + the power level increase of the BD. So basically they are at the same horsepower. BUT, with the juice/attitude it intercepts the ECM signal and modifies it to add say 50 hp. So on the LBZ with juice it would be 410 and with the LLY it would be 360. What I am leading up to is if the allison can handle the LBZ with + 60 to 80 hp or approximately 410 or so shouldn't I be able to run my LLY at level 6 ands still have the allison handle it? :D I also installed the transgo jr. Any opinions? Does this make sense? I am just like everyone else I love the power but don't want to destroy the tranny (yet ):h ) Thanks and sorry for the long post.

I can only tell you what I've experienced first hand. I ran the bully dog extreme and the Edge level 6. Both ran very similar times, but that was before I had lift pumps and I was loosing fuel with the Edge. I just dynoed my truck last weekend. I got 293 stock, 356 on level 3 (according to Edge it's worth 51 hp on an LBZ) and 478 on level 6 (good for 100 hp according to Edge). I can't say I completely trust the 478, but I really have no reason to doubt it other than it is way more of a gain than Edge claims.

I have the same question; at this point I only have 2000 miles on mine. Not in a rush to increase the power, but love to know that at some point in time I can. Compared to my prior (Colorado) truck, it still feels great. If and when I increase the power, I want to make sure I don't jeopardize the warranty or over power the Allison. I'd only want to bring my LLY up to LBZ or maybe a little higher. I'm not looking to over do it.

JoshH - I have the hot level 6 and have tried it out. Took it a little easy but it sure does seem to haul and smoke. Similar to the Bully Dog on extreme - but the bully dog extreme is supposed to be the LBZ rating of 360 hp + 138 hp (IIRC) which would be 498 which is close to what you said was on the edge level 6.
Brancieri - any of the programmers or modules have lower levels that will bump the hp to whatever you want. Just keep in mind it is addictive and you will end up bumping it higher. I hope my charge card limit will handle the suncoast tranny upgrade.:D
