I have a 94 Suburban that I am having some problems with. When I am driving down the road and push the pedal to the floor to pass someone, sometimes it starts cutting out until I let off the pedal or it shifts to the next gear. Also sometimes when I start the engine, it dies about 4-8 seconds later and acts like it is out of fuel when I try to restart it. It will always restart, but it justs cranks for a while like it is not getting fuel. I have replaced the fuel pump, injector pump, fuel injectors, and fuel filter and I am still having the same problems. The only other thing I can think of is that the fuel is vapor locking? Has this ever been a problem with 6.5's? Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot everyone.

Hey TDF,
Welcome to the site, put your truck info in your signature, it will save us from having to to check back to top thread for info of what truck we are helping with. any codes, since you are OBD-I you can check codes with paperclip as detailed in FAQ if you have codes.
My 98 Burb was doing same going into limp throttle mode, that ultimately was a computer communication issue via the ABS circuit; but I also got codes.
Does this happen when on cruise control, speed control via CC comes from PCM, vs throttle command from APP (acellerator pedal)

Sounds like the lift pump isn't working when it should. When my truck did this, the lift pump was inop both times. I had a new lift pump fail after about 5 months of service. If you're positive the lift pump is OK, I would suspect the OPS is bad. Read the FAQ's for tests how to determine which is bad.
