: Crankcase Pressure-too Much For Turbo Oil Drain?

OK a couple weeks ago I had some questions posted that led me to check my turbo.
Basically lots of oil in the downpipe. The turbo had been making noise and had a ton of shaft play so off it came.
Now the new turbo has no play makes no noises but im still getting a ton of oil in the exhaust.
I pulled the old fuelpump plate/oil return and its all clean, no junk etc...
The return hose is clean as well.
The only thing I can think of is that maybe I've got too much pressure in the block? If the pressure in the motor is trying to escape could it be not letting the oil return like designed.
I'm grasping at straws here.
Anyone else think of any reason my oil wants to leave through the exhaust.
Also The exhaust manifold was dry and clean inside so I know the oil isnt coming from the motor but through the turbo and out.

Drive it at hiway speeds for a bit, give it a chance to burn-off the original oil.

The CDR is wide open at all times, until intake vacuum rises above 6"H20, then closes to prevent raw oil evacuation thru the valve cover.

If the tubo drain line is blocked - say, at the flange by excess quantities of RTV - then the oil will exit into the exhaust turbine area, and also the intake area at low Boost conditions.

Pull the turbo and check the exhaust elbow for wet oil, indicating fresh flow thru that area - if none, burn previous leftovers with high exhaust temps on the hiway.

run a restrictor.........turbo's only need a small amount of oil and too much will be the first thing that screws up seals. 3/16" hard brake line is the perfect size for a turbo feed line with no restrictor.

With a 3/16 line the turbo will not starve ?
I cleaned everything up and went for a drive and it appears The truck is blowing alot less oil but wet black oil still present in the pipe.
At the moment the downpipe is'nt hooked up to the rest of the exhaust so its easy to check.
Also looks like Im getting some oil leaking out of the turbo itself from inbetween the center section and the ex housing thats poolung up near the mounting bolts.

That's the second Holset turbo on a 6.5 that dumps oil thru the turbine side - must be a different oil supply rate on the Cummins.

So should I install the restrictor in the feed line.
Or the better question would be how did the other holset user solve his problem.
Ive been using the search forums for hours and found no mention of this anywhere else except one guy in march and he must have solved it cause he never posted an outcome.
