When you guys cut you bed for a stack, did you use some sort of buffer between the stack and the bed, or just leave it?
Is there any rattle?
Coul someone put a IR thermometer on a stack and get a temp, 'cause I wonder if a good grade of rubber would melt.

I used a piece of angle iron and a band clamp to secure it to the top of the bed. At the bottom, the hole I cut was just big enough to put a cut piece of hydraulic hose around the metal opening. I don't have a temp, but the hydraulic hose has not melted yet.

i made a set of brackets for my stacks (in garage) and took a peice of vacume line split it down the middle and put it around the hole in the bed to trim it out no vibrations on signs of melting the vacume line
