I just thought I would post this for those of you thinking about a Transfer flow product. My fuel pump decided to go south on my aux tank yesterday. Come to find out that even though it's under warranty I had to shell out $80 to get a new one sent out to me. The idea is that they want me to return my old fuel pump and if it's malfunctioning they will refund me within two weeks. All of the pump testing and diagnosis of the problems with my system were being performed by my Transferflow installer. Let's just be glad that other companies that offer warranties aren't such putnannies and require us to pre-pay for there defective crap. Also, the automatic refill system on the express tank is a peice of junk. You cant count on it to work/refill but 75 percent of the time based on my system. Looking back, I would have bought a cheaper tank and had a pump switch installed in the cab to transfer fuel.

You are scaring me, I have 50gal in bedtank. Had it about 3 months no trouble so far. After I put this system in had 2nd thoughts about how complacated it is. Its there TraxII system, I carry a hose and siphon pump in case we are on a trip we can still move fuel to oem.

Keeping a hose handy is a good idea but I have a camper top.

I've had my 50gal in-bed tank for over a year now, installed it myself, no problems as of yet. The TraxUFS system works as advertised, never a hiccup. Sorry to hear your problem, hope its isolated.

I have the TF 50gal in-bed. Haven't had a problem in 2 1/2 years. Gauge is very accurate.

I dont have the TraxUFS. I have the express where it senses my oem guage and triggers the pump on & off.

I jsut installed their tank with the Trax II (?) yesterday. Their LCD displays the correct gallonage in each of the tanks and seems to handle fuel transfer appropriately but is sending garbage to the OEM control module so the OEM guage reads empty. Their tech worked with me a bit but had no answer. He is supposed to call back when he comes up with something but the phone is not ringing.
With power cut to their control module, the OEM guage reads (OEM tank) correctly. I'm planning on putting a switch on the console so that I can turn on their control module only when I need fuel transfer. That way the DIC will provide accurate info the rest of the time. The only advantage their system will provide over a simple pump switch is that I won't have to worry about overfilling. Pretty pricey feature.
Does anybody have a properly functioning system installed on an LLY?
