Not4Mud 12-09-2006, 09:51 PM I am pretty much ready to buy my 17x9 Helo Maxx 8's but want to be sure they will clear. I want to run 285/70/17 BFG MT's. I am installing the Cognito Leveling Kit this spring along with the 1/2 ton keys. Will that be enough for the front to clear?? The rear shouldnt be an issue. I'd like to do it all without hacking up my new truck. Samuel2006 12-10-2006, 04:59 PM they should work, i run 285's on mine, they clear just fine, only thing u have to worry about is backspacing, you might have to heat up the wheel well a bit. GMTruckGirl 12-10-2006, 09:26 PM Just be careful with cking the backspacing before you make a purchase...otherwise it should be fine...and if there is minor rubbing you can heat/remold the wheel-well liner and get a few inches if necessary or crank up those torsion bars.
