I had them for about 35,000 they were great in the snow ,good dry road and rain . they did however get noisy as time went on . for the money i thinkk there a great tire . i replaced mine with Goodyear Silent Armor Pro-Grade ,These are some great tires . Quiet ,Stable .great snow and rain traction .But expensive. Happy shopping, check out tire rack .com they have all the specs and comparison charts

Might want to talk to Houston_Dmax (Melvin), he has them on his truck as well. Seems to like them from what he has told me..

I ran them on on my Avalanche, and they were great! As Ihpulr stated they are great in the snow, gravel and rain, but do have a loud howl to them at high speeds on the hwy!!! Great tire though, I am considering H/T-s's for my dually!

I've got 15k on mine and they are starting howl a bit. They have been good so far but seem to be wearing quickly. Defnintely rotate them often if you go that route. Work 1k times better than the stockers in the rain!!! Good tire for the money.

I have 30 k on mine and they are a great tire. Not very loud on the road and pretty darn good in the mud..

I ran two sets. Couldn't get any mileage out of them; about 25K out of one, and 30K out of the other. Other than that, I was pleased. Not real lound, and decent traction.

Tires I am running now, which were supposed to last longer than the Yoko's, don't look like they will go much past 25K either.

I don't know what it is about my truck, other than it's weight, that eats my tires up.

Thank God Discount Tire has stepped up and recognized that the tires they are seeling me aren't getting many miles. It will be interesting to see what they say when I come back again with this current set.

May try some Toyo's next.

thanks for the replies. as far as the howl, is it like a super swamper tire when it passes you? this is a daily driver truck just like most (all) of your trucks and thats one thing i cant stand. i want decent wear (at least 30,000 miles) and quiet. i love my BFG's but wanted a different look and a little less money. The BFG's make NO noise on my truck at any speed.

Not near as loud as anyhting else that is as agressive as these. Not totally Quiete but not load enough to be a problem especially if you keep thew rotated. Have sold at least 500 of these in the last two years & very little problems. Most people(98%) come back for another set.

You got me on that one (I hate to admit) But (now I'm Making excuses) a few years ago General made a tire called Grabber St that I really liked then they discontinued it & I knew when they did so I bought enough General STs to get me by for awhile on all of my trucks. When they are gone 3 of my 4 trucks will have Yokahama's on them. We have very little problems with broken belts & such stuff on all of them of any tread design & I like low maintenance. In my defense the wife's van has Yokahama's on it already.
