Hi there- heres my question, I have an 02 dmax, and for the past few days the temps here have been in single digits. I have noticed the tranny seems to slip and shift harder than normal and the truck seems to be under powered. I pull a trailer with @10,000 lbs and I have a hard time getting it to go over 50mph when the same hills normally I could do 70 no problem. I know my fuel supplier just went to-26deg. fuel. Could this alone cause the loss in power? I add FPPF every tank. Also the tranny only reaches maybe 130 and engine temps maybe 170. Cold temps and winter blend, or dreaded injectors possibly? Changed fuel filer 2 weeks ago, no water or gelling problems either. Any ideas- thanks

Real similar problems here.Hasn't been that cold here but 15-30 degrees. Can't hold 75mph with 10-12K on fairly flat ground. Only maybe 55-60mph in 5th gear. {I have a 6spd} Crappy milege too ,like 8-9mpg -:t . I just changed the air and fuel filters. Need to figure out asap. Now have Power thanks to EFI but milege still sucks :(.
