I'm getting ready to turn 21K miles, there is a rattle in the passenger seat when nobody is sitting in it that I can't find. The Sunroof vibrates sometimes at idle if the engine hits the right vibration. Now that its getting cold, the drivers door is starting to make noise like its not closed when running over bumps...

With the roads around here, its really annoying driving around. The Radio drowns most of it out but Its kind of embarrassing when I take passengers in my new truck..

I need to take it into the dealer, I just don't have much confidence they will actually do anything about it. I have had No Mechanical problems but this thing is starting to turn into a Dodge on the inside!

i had a 99 1/2 ton with electric/leather seats and the pass side seat rattled when empty. had to learn to live with it after dealer changed out the frame. i was told nature of the beast; sucked.

Before my '04 Duramax. I had a Chevy 1500. There was a rattle in the passenger door since the day I drove it off the lot. I took the door panel several times. I even took part of the dash apart thinking it might be in there. Took it to the dealer once and he made sure all the nuts were tight and no loose screws. Still rattled....you get used to it after a while.

My passenger seat rattled like you're saying from day one.
I finally got someone to drive while I sat in back and looked to see where it was coming from. Isolated it to the plastic cover on the outside of the seat where the backrest pivots on the seat. Some well placed two sided tape solved my problem.

My entire interior rattles it seems like. I guess we just gotta get used to it. The problem is, they usually only get worse.

Same here. To many to list. But I am slowing finding them one by one. The passenger seat however still escapes me... Good luck~

I thought I read somewhere there was a TSB on the seat rattle.

So much for making fun of the Dodge interiors. I refuse to just put up with the rattles in a 40K+ vehicle.

my 99 blazer has so many rattles in it...
...If I had a dime for every one, I would have more dimes than the truck is worth!

Dash
drivers and pass door
back glass
spare tire carrier
every plastic piece from the B pillar back....

I fixed the big ones, and put in a better radio

Yup, my sunroof has a rattle. Sounds like a metal bar loose.
Also, there is a squeak that seems to be coming from the steering wheel that is starting to drive me nuts.

Only has 120 miles and already going back to the dealership. :(

I had a rattle in my passenger seat with nobody sitting in it that took me a while to find, turned out to be the seat belt clip rattling against the little plastic stop button in the seat belt webbing. Now I just turn the belt a half twist when nobody is occupying the seat and no more rattle.

I have a rattle in my rear driver side door of the crew cab. Been there since the day I drove it off the lot. Easy fix, just turn the radio up a little bit. Haven't had time to take the door panel off yet to see if anything's loose. I also just began to notice a rattle in the dash somewhere. Sounds like it's coming from behind the instrument cluster somewhere. Over the years of many different vehicles, I've never had one that DIDN'T rattle somewhere, at some point. Nothing's perfect I guess!
