Big Kahuna 12-07-2006, 11:01 PM 01 GMC 120,000 miles dmax after second set of injectors, sometimes won't start. When it does start after waiting a few moments runs fine no problems. Stealer had it for 2 days they never had a problem. Brought it home second time didn't start again. Pumped the primer and it started though a little slower than normal. Doesn't matter whether cold or hot. Any ideas? BOOST 12-08-2006, 12:54 AM when it doesn't start does it crank and not fire or no crank at all? GMC2500HD 12-10-2006, 12:28 AM My old 04 used to do this, seems that the fuel filter was losing prime for whatever reason and a few pumps and it would start right up. Have you checked the filter housing to see if there are any cracks? Also did you make sure the seal was on the filter correctly the last time it was changed?
