Title says it all. But anyway Izuzu basicallly took a colorado, or their verzion the I-350. And put 2 diesel options in it along with some other one thats not imortant. It is mainly a work truck but what I can find is that it is not available for the US. Or not right now. Not Many specs but heres the link to the web site. http://www.isuzu.co.jp/world/product/dmax/power.html

thats pretty sweet. the american auto industry needs to get their collective heads out of their Arses and start producing small trucks and cars with diesel engines. The rest of the world is so far ahead of us in this respect...

A GM press release a couple of months ago stated that the General is planning to get aggressive with diesel technology and even stated that the target was to have over 70% of GM vehicles to be diesel powered by 2015.

Just hold on a minute there!!! Diesel is expensive enough and if more people buy diesels the cost will continue to go up. Diesel was cheaper than regular gas when I bought my DMax (for about 2 weeks:mad: ).

I have been tinkering with that idea for a while now . I bought a s-10 and a mazda 2.2 diesel from the eary 80s ( actually a perkins diesel) I hope to make the switch soon. Hopefully it will make fuel and I will have to stop and drain some out once in a while HA HA!
