Does anyone have a link to a Load/Inflation pressure chart. I have just upgraded to Bridgestone Revo's (265's) and all I can get out of the manufacturer is "use the manufacturers recommended pressure".

I have three conditions:

1) Truck empty ( Front axle - 4260 lbs, Rear axle - 3120 lbs)

2) Truck towing ( Front axle - 4320 lbs, Rear axle - 5140 lbs)

3) Truck loaded ( Front axle - 4670 lbs, Rear axle - 6084 lbs)

Members input would be very welcome

Have you gone to www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com) yet? They have all that info and specs for most tires. Takes a little searching but I found tons of presure info in my Goodyear MTRs.

Problem with GM is, they say to follow the manual or the placard on the inside of the driver's door. On mine, (see sig below),

It requires 55 front and 80 rear.

I fought with GM after wearing through 2 sets of tires in the rear, that 80 pounds of pressure in the rear, UNLOADED is rediculous. Yet, that is their stand on it. 80 lbs. in the rears. OF course, the tire shops laugh at me, and tell me to fill 'em up when towing or carrying weight, which I DO KNOW> Yet, GM says ALWAYS keep them at 80.

This is a frustrating thing becuase the tire manufacturer claims abuse by over-inflation, and the dealer, had the gumption to claim that I keep them too low.

God, they are stupid. But when someone else's stupidity costs me money, that is hard to swallow.

SO, after my own experience, I keep the fronts at 50, and the rears at 45. The ride is much better, and my tire wear is even now. So, that's my story, and I am stickin' to it!

Good Luck!!!!

<TD class=black_11>
For optimum tire performance, proper inflation pressures for the loads being carried must be maintained. The proper inflation pressure can be found in the load and inflation tables of this book.
Air pressure of all tires should be checked and corrected weekly with an accurate inflation pressure gauge. Since air expands when heated, tire pressures will increase due to the normal build-up of heat during operation. For this reason, tire pressures should be checked while cold. Do not bleed air from tires while hot. This will result in an underinflated condition.
Underinflated tires build up excessive heat due to overdeflection and may result in tire deterioration. Operating on an improperly inflated tire will cause severe tire damage.
Do not exceed the maximum load and inflation capacity listed in this book without consulting a Bridgestone technical representative.</TD></TR></T></TABLE>

The above, is from this link, which appears to be an official Bridgestone site.
