How much slip percentage is to much for the allison on the attitude monitor? Is actual clutch slippage(c1,c2,c3,c4,c5) something you can only feel on take off or driving? Is the slip percentage on the attitude monitor representative of how much each clutch is slipping?
Sorry for all the questions, but thats how we learn.Edited by: 338_

You only get an accurate reading when your TC is locked. In that situation, more than 0% is too much! On the Attitude monitor, you'll see .6% or .7% flash from time to time and the general consensus is that this reading is normal and no slipage is happening. But if you see anything above 0% for a long period of time, that is bad news.
Thanks
I've seen as high as 40% in level 5 without the converter locked. But when locked its always 0%.

The monitor shows the overall slipage, you cannot pin point a specific component with it. Level 5 on a stock tranny is very borderline even if you don't have the "hot" box. Be carefull. I Never went pass Level 3 before I upgraded my tranny.
