This is a pic of the area just behind the water pump. Wet with oil. It has shown a little wetness since I got the truck, which has a very clean, dry engine for the most part. I am concerned that I exacerbated a problem by installing the OE heavy fan clutch on the original water pump after it had a relatively light flex fan on it for some time. Any ideas? Thanks!

Bob check your oil cooler line crimps they are notorious for leakage, your fan may be pulling in the oil and depositing it there, also maybe some venting from base of oil fill tube, check the CDR for proper operation, maybe slight overpressure from crank case venting thru oil fill tube seal

Or just some spillage from servicing. I would look at the filler neck gorment too.
