: First Gen vs second gen motors txbroker 12-05-2006, 01:38 PM Is their a noticable difference? is one really better than the other? I'm looking at 04 and an 04.5 3500, I know the first gens had Injector problems. was that it? no idea what so ever about the 2nd gen motors. A little tootalege would be greatly apprciated. Chad H 12-05-2006, 02:10 PM My brother has an '04 2500 with the LB7 and I have an 2004.5 with the LLY engine and the LLY definitely has a little more snort as stock.
